Xinoxy Eye Ointment is an antibiotic ointment used to treat bacterial infections of the eye and eyelid.

- Polymyxin B Sulphate
How to use Xinoxy Eye Ointment?
- Wash your hands thoroughly before applying the ointment
- Pull the lower eyelid down gently to form a small pocket
- Place a thin ribbon of ointment into the pocket without touching the eye
- Close the eye gently for a minute or two after applying
Contraindications
- Those with a history of allergy to tetracyclines or polymyxin B should not use this ointment
- Not suitable for viral, fungal or mycobacterial eye infections
- Avoid in known corneal perforation
- Not recommended for use while wearing contact lenses during treatment
Risks and warnings
- For the eye only: do not use this ointment on other parts of the body or swallow it
- Temporary blurred vision: vision may blur briefly after application, so avoid driving right after use
- Worsening symptoms: stop use and see your doctor if irritation, swelling or pain increases
- Confirmed diagnosis: this ointment works only for bacterial infections, so avoid self treating undiagnosed eye redness

- Store below 25°C away from light
