Zeespa tablet eases stomach cramps and bloating. It works by relaxing the tight muscles of the gut.

How to use Zeespa Tablet?
- Zeespa tablet is taken twenty minutes before each main meal
- The tablet should be swallowed whole with a glass of water
- Chewing or crushing the coated tablet is not suitable
- A missed dose is skipped rather than doubled at the next time
- This medicine can be reduced gradually once symptoms settle
Contraindications
- Not recommended for children and teenagers under eighteen
- This medicine must not be used by patients with a paralysed bowel
- Known allergy to mebeverine or any tablet ingredient
- Patients with a mechanical blockage of the intestine
Drug Interactions
- Metoclopramide and domperidone: their opposite action cancels the benefit
- Hyoscine and other antispasmodics: constipation and bloating may worsen
- Codeine and loperamide: the bowel slows further and stools harden
- Alcohol: bowel symptoms and dizziness may become worse
- Always tell your doctor about all medicines you are currently taking
Risks and warnings
- Warning signs: blood in stool, weight loss or fever needs a doctor first
- Age over 40: new bowel symptoms need proper testing before treatment starts
- Undiagnosed pain: it does not treat appendicitis or a blocked bowel
- Lactose content: patients with rare lactose intolerance should avoid it
- No improvement: symptoms unchanged after two weeks need medical review
- Pregnancy: use only if your doctor considers it clearly necessary
- Breastfeeding: avoid unless a doctor has advised it
- Driving and machinery: dizziness has been reported in some patients
- Share your full medical history with your doctor before taking this medicine
