Brown Spots on Neck

Assalamualikum. I need guidance from a dermatologist. I have developed brownish spots on the back of my neck. When I used to live in France, a dermatologist gave me a red color tube and advised me to have a bath with that. These spots disappeared very soon after using that tube. Please guide.

I'm not sure as to what that tube was. Maybe if you could share it's photo or name we can find you something similar in Pakistan? It would be best to discuss this with a dermatologist. There are many things one can use for freckles.
