Dandruff Problem

I have a serious dandruff problem which is causing a lot of hair fall. I have tried many shampoos but no response. I had to shave my head but still no use. Dandruff appears in the shape of flakes even within 1 hour of hair wash. My hair remains rough and dry throughout. My question is which shampoo or hair tonic would be suitable for this problem? What should I do?

Dear Patient,

I would recommend you to meet a dermatologist just to make sure you only have dandruff and not something like seborrhea etc that can be the root cause of dandruff and has a complete cure!
The shampoos for dandruff are very hard on their hair hence you are supposed to alternate them with a regular shampoo. So, what you can do is use any selenium shampoo along with a regular Sunsilk for the next shower. Try this for two weeks and then try head and shoulders with Sunsilk/dove/etc. Comb your hair often, oil it with regular oil with few drops of tea tree oil and massage it well. Wash after 2 hours.
