Dry and Flaky Skin

My son has a very dry and flaky skin especially the hands and feet. It becomes worse after he takes a bath and his hands and feet become very pale. We have used almost every oil and Vaseline too but no use. I took him to the doctor and he said that a few children have such a skin and that is okay. I am not satisfied. I need an effective and permanent solution for this? Kindly, help. Any cream or jell that is the best?

There are a few simple measures you can take and see if they are effective
Apply any good organic baby or coconut oil before bath, use mild hypoallergenic soaps and shampoos on him.
Before bed apply layers of petroleum jelly and cover the areas daily.
Moisturize him with vitamin E- rich oil-based creams or Palmer's cocoa butter for babies available at mother/child stores and good pharmacies. Try these remedies for some mths you will notice an obvious change. Make sure he has ample water and fresh juices.
