Eczema Problem

Asked for Female, 33 years

I have developed eczema after my baby's birth. She's 3.5 months now But the eczema is still here affecting me physically and emotionally as well. I have applied many hypoallergenic lotions, ointments, and corticosteroids but no avail heals from one place and appears at the other. Could you please tell me what should I do to get rid of it? Is eczema curable? Or I have to deal with it for the rest of my lifetime.

I'm sorry to hear that. Eczema occurs in people who themselves or their blood relatives have a history of allergic illnesses like asthma, eczema, etc. If yours triggered post pregnancy it may settle once the hormones settle. I would suggest you consult a dermatologist and stick to the cure he has to give and be patient. Skin Illnesses usually take some time to cure and you have to be patient and consistent with it.
