Fungus on nails

It's been 6 years since this fungus attack only on the thumbs of hands and toe. Fungone was taken intially. When the case became severe, Lamicil and Turbicil were prescribed and were very effective. Later, the medication had side effects and I quit taking them up. Kindly suggest me some medicines for it.
