Ganglion cyst

Any permanent solution to get rid of ganglion cyst? I have it on upside of my right hand wrist and it hurts a lot. I can’t even move my hand or hold anything. I heard that surgery is not a permanent solution. People do get it again after surgery so is that true? Secondly, what are the causes of ganglion cyst? Why do we get it like any specific reason behind it?

A ganglion cysts is normally a bengin condition and sometimes painless. However aspiration/surgery is recommended in painful cases like yours. The cyst can recur depending on the location in the body but this is not a must. I would encourage you to consider treatment with a positive mind. Yes, ganglion cyst is a painful situation. It occurs mostly at the site if friction. and in majority of cases its cause is not known. for now if its causing alot of discomfort and pain you need to see a surgeon and get it removed. no other remedy for it
