Pimple in Armpit

My two years old baby had a pimple type thing in his armpit. It's been 2 months, it hasn't gone off. I consulted with doctor child specialist, he said it's ok it's just a pimple. He suggested me a cream which I applied whole week but it gives a dark mark and that pimple was still there. Then I consulted a skin specialist he also did give me a cream which I applied until it finished but still it's there. I'm afraid of what it is. What should I do?

Dear Patient,

When did you first notice it? Has it grown since then? What color is it? Is it soft or hard? Does it hurt? Can you see a hole type thing on it or is it smooth? Do you think a general surgeon can guide you better about this after examining it?

Mostly if these things don't hurt, are smooth and are not changing in size, we tend to leave it alone so it goes away itself or can be removed at an older age for cosmetic reasons. However, you can try consulting a general surgeon for this if you are dissatisfied.
