Skin Problem

When I was in my teenage, I developed red bumps which later on turn into acne. Most of the time I scratch them as they are very itchy and same with insect bites. I have a lot of dark spots now all over my face, buttock, back of my thighs and upper arm. It is also present in my inner thighs. I wanted to restore my skin and remove these dark spots and scars on my legs as well. I am too shy to go to a dermatologists because I do not know what to say to them. Please reply

Dear Patient,

What you can do is take a mild antiallergy if insects bite you. Apply calamine lotion on itchy areas to avoid scratching and soothe the skin. Fresh aloe vera gel can be applied to these areas around 3-4times/week and they will reduce the spots. You can also use Cosmelan cream (one drop is enough to cover the whole face), these should lighten your skin drastically within 6-8 weeks. Take tablet Evion for 2 weeks and once you stop it then start tablet “One a day' daily for three mths. These should help your general health and lighten the skin. eat fresh fruits daily and veggies and have lots of water.
