Smooth Skin

I guess my skin is overly exfoliated as I just completed medicated treatments with retinoids and all and my texture is bumpy/rough and shiny. How to get smooth texture? What should be done to overcome this? Or should I leave it as it is for a few weeks? Also, My skin is oily and acne prone.
