Kidney cancer, also known as renal cancer, is a type of cancer that starts in the cells in the kidney. The most common signs and symptoms of kidney cancer are a mass in the abdomen and/or blood in the urine. Other symptoms may include tiredness, loss of appetite, weight loss, a high temperature and heavy sweating, and persistent pain in the abdomen.
