A Doppler ultrasound is an imaging test that makes use of the Doppler's effect. These ultrasounds are especially made for analyzing the blood flow in an organ of the human body. Doppler ultrasound works by analyzing the waves which are reflected back from the blood flowing in the blood vessels. By examining the change or shift in the speed of these reflected waves, the flow of blood is analyzed.
