Varicocele Microsurgery (Varicocelectomy) is a procedure undertaken by urologists to permanently tie off enlarged veins in the scrotum called varicoceles. In this procedure, an incision is made in the groin and the enlarged veins in the scrotum are then identified and cut or tied off. The procedure is carried out with the help of a surgical microscope under anesthesia. Varicocele microsurgery can lead to an improved sperm count and reduced discomfort and pain in the testicles.
