It occurs when blood flow is decreased or stopped to a part of the heart, causing damage to the heart muscle. The most noticeable symptoms is chest pain which may travel to the shoulder, arm or neck. Other minor symptoms include difficulty breathing, dizziness, cold sweats and irregular heartbeat.
