How to use Allerphene syrup 2mg / 5ml?

• Adults and children over 12 years: 10 ml every 4 to 6 hours, up to 60 ml in 24 hours, or as prescribed.
• Children 6 to 12 years: 5 ml every 4 to 6 hours, or as prescribed.
• Children 2 to 5 years: 2.5 ml every 4 to 6 hours, or as prescribed.
• Children under 2 years: use Allerphene Syrup only on a doctor's advice.

Drug Interactions

• Sedatives, sleeping pills and alcohol: These increase drowsiness and slow reactions.
• MAO inhibitors: They can intensify the anticholinergic effects of chlorpheniramine.
• Other antihistamines and anticholinergic drugs: Combined use raises dry mouth, blurred vision and constipation.
• Phenytoin: Chlorpheniramine may raise phenytoin levels.

Risks and warnings
