How to use Amtas Tablet 5mg / 40mg?
- Take one tablet at the same time every day, with or without food
- Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water
- Do not stop the tablet suddenly without consulting a doctor

- Report swelling in the ankles or feet to a doctor
Drug Interactions
- Diuretics (water pills): Combined use with Amtas can increase the blood pressure lowering effect and raise the risk of dizziness.
- Potassium sparing diuretics: Telmisartan can raise blood potassium levels when combined with these medicines.
- NSAIDs: Regular use of painkillers like ibuprofen can reduce the blood pressure lowering effect of Amtas.
