Asilix Tablet 500mg formula
How to use Asilix Tablet 500mg?
- Take one tablet orally, once daily, with or without food.
- Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water.
- Avoid taking within 2 hours of antacids, calcium, iron or zinc supplements.
- Drink plenty of fluids throughout the treatment course.
- Complete the full course even if symptoms improve early.
- Limit direct sun exposure due to photosensitivity risk.
- Take at the same time each day.
Drug Interactions
- Antacids, Calcium, Iron and Zinc: reduce levofloxacin absorption; separate dosing by at least 2 hours.
- Warfarin: can enhance the anticoagulant effect and increase bleeding risk.
- NSAIDs: increase the risk of central nervous system stimulation and seizures.
- Corticosteroids: raise the risk of tendon rupture when used together.
- Antiarrhythmic Drugs: additive QT-prolonging effect that can trigger irregular heartbeat.
- Insulin and Oral Antidiabetics: may cause significant blood sugar fluctuations.
- Theophylline: can raise theophylline blood levels and toxicity risk.
