How to use Bentil Suspension 100mg?

• Shake the suspension well before each use
• Adults and children over 2 years: 400mg (one full bottle) as a single dose, or as directed by the doctor
• Children 1 to 2 years: usual dose is 200mg (half bottle), confirm with a pediatrician
• Can be taken with or without food, though a fatty meal increases absorption
• A repeat dose after 2 to 3 weeks may be advised for heavy infections

Drug Interactions

• Dexamethasone: Increases albendazole blood levels and may raise the risk of side effects
• Cimetidine: Can increase albendazole concentration in the body
• Praziquantel: May increase albendazole levels when taken together
• Phenytoin and Carbamazepine: Can lower albendazole effectiveness by speeding up its breakdown

Risks and warnings
