How to use Blephamide SOP Ophthalmic Ointment?

• Wash your hands before applying the ointment.
• Gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket.
• Apply a thin ribbon of ointment, about 1 to 2 centimeters, into the pocket.
• Close the eye gently for 1 to 2 minutes to let the ointment spread evenly.
• Avoid letting the tube tip touch the eye or eyelid to prevent contamination.
• Use at the frequency and for the duration your eye doctor prescribes, and do not stop early.

Drug Interactions

• Other Eye Medicines: This ointment should be spaced at least 10 minutes apart from any other eye drop or ointment, to avoid diluting either product.
