What Experts Say
Hypertension is now one of the leading health concerns across Pakistan, with a large share of adults in urban areas affected by uncontrolled blood pressure. Cardiologists report a steady rise linked to sedentary lifestyles, high salt intake, and stress.
Nebivolol is often preferred for patients who need a beta blocker but cannot tolerate the fatigue or breathing issues linked to older options. Physicians frequently pair it with lifestyle counseling for long term blood pressure control.
Patients with heart failure should never self adjust the dose. Regular follow up with a cardiologist helps track heart rate, blood pressure, and overall response to treatment.
Drug Class
- Beta-1 selective adrenergic blocker (cardioselective beta blocker)
