What Experts Say
Respiratory and urinary infections rank among the most common reasons patients visit outpatient clinics across Pakistan, especially during monsoon and winter months.
Self-medication with leftover antibiotics is common in Pakistan and this practice is a major driver of antibiotic resistance.
Experts advise against starting Calamox Tablet 1gm without a confirmed bacterial diagnosis, since incorrect use can make future infections harder to treat.
