- Used for osteoporosis in adults whose bones have lost density over time
- Helpful in managing osteopenia before it progresses to full bone loss

- Indicated for patients with low calcium, vitamin D, or magnesium levels confirmed by blood tests
- Given to patients with high parathyroid hormone levels to prevent further bone mineral loss
- Recommended during pregnancy to support fetal bone development and maternal bone health
- Treats exercise-induced bone demineralisation in physically active individuals
- Supports recovery in patients healing from bone fractures or joint surgery
When Not to Use Cellgee Tablet
- Patients with hypercalcaemia (already high calcium levels in the blood)
- Patients with a confirmed history of calcium kidney stones
- Patients with hypervitaminosis D (vitamin D toxicity)
- Patients with malabsorption syndrome who cannot absorb fat-soluble vitamins
- Patients on active vitamin D analogue therapy prescribed by a physician
- Anyone with a known allergy to any ingredient in the Cellgee tablet

Cellgee Tablet formula
- Calcium (Red Algae) 1000mg + Vitamin K2 (BP) 45mcg + Vitamin D3 (BP) 400IU + Magnesium 32mg + Trace Minerals
Risks and warnings
- Kidney disease: Magnesium can accumulate in patients with reduced kidney function, increasing the risk of magnesium toxicity
- Cardiac arrhythmias: Vitamin D3 raises calcium levels, which can worsen irregular heart rhythms, especially in patients on heart medicines
- Kidney stones: Patients with a history of calcium oxalate kidney stones should not take the Cellgee tablet without medical clearance
- Hypercalcaemia risk: Symptoms such as excessive thirst, frequent urination, nausea, and confusion may signal that calcium levels are too high
- Renal dialysis: Patients on dialysis must not take magnesium-containing supplements without a nephrologist's approval
- Warfarin therapy: INR must be monitored more frequently when starting or stopping Cellgee tablet alongside a blood thinner
- Pregnancy: Cellgee tablet is generally considered supportive during pregnancy, but the dose must be confirmed with your obstetrician
- Breastfeeding: Safe intake levels during breastfeeding vary, so medical guidance is recommended before use
How to use Cellgee Tablet?
- Adults: 1 tablet per dose, taken once daily
- Maximum daily dose: 1 tablet, unless your doctor advises otherwise
- Children: not recommended without a doctor's advice and confirmed deficiency
- The Cellgee tablet can be taken with a meal for better absorption
- Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water, without crushing or chewing
- This supplement works best when taken consistently every day at the same time
- Do not stop the Cellgee tablet suddenly without speaking to your doctor first
Cellgee Tablet Side Effects
- Nausea or stomach upset

- Excessive thirst or frequent urination (may indicate high calcium)

Drug Interactions
- Warfarin and blood thinners: Vitamin K2 in Cellgee tablet can reduce the effect of warfarin, affecting clotting control and INR levels
- Thiazide diuretics: These blood pressure medicines, when combined with the Cellgee tablet, may raise blood calcium to unsafe levels
- Bisphosphonates (e.g., alendronate, risedronate): Magnesium in the Cellgee tablet can reduce the absorption of these bone medicines, so doses should
be separated by at least 2 hours
- Fluoroquinolone antibiotics (e.g., ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin): Magnesium binds these antibiotics in the gut and lowers their effectiveness
- Tetracycline antibiotics (e.g., doxycycline): Magnesium in the Cellgee tablet can reduce the absorption of these antibiotics
- Digoxin and cardiac glycosides: Vitamin D increases calcium levels, which can worsen digoxin toxicity in patients on heart medicines
- Corticosteroids (e.g., prednisolone): Long-term steroid use reduces calcium absorption and may counteract the benefit of the Cellgee tablet
