• Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water
• Take at the same times each day to maintain steady drug levels in the body
• Avoid taking with dairy products, calcium fortified juices or multivitamins alone, since they reduce absorption
• Separate antacid, calcium, iron or zinc intake by at least two hours before or six hours after this medicine

Drug Interactions

• Antacids and Mineral Supplements: Products containing calcium, magnesium, aluminum, iron or zinc reduce absorption of this medicine when taken together
