How to use Cortisporin Eye Ointment 3gm?

• Wash hands before opening the tube
• Tilt the head back and gently pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket
• Apply a thin ribbon of ointment, about half an inch, inside the lower lid
• Close the eye gently for one to two minutes to let the ointment spread
• Avoid letting the tube tip touch the eye, eyelid or any surface
• Wipe away excess ointment from the eyelid with a clean tissue
• Wash hands again after application
• Use at the frequency and duration your doctor prescribes, usually three to four times daily
