How to use Cosopt Drops 2% / 0.5%?
- Wash hands before using the drops
- Tilt the head back and pull the lower eyelid down to form a small pocket
- Instil one drop into the affected eye twice daily as directed by the doctor
- Press gently on the inner corner of the eye for one minute after each drop to reduce absorption into the body
- Wait at least five minutes before using any other eye drop
- Do not touch the dropper tip to the eye or any surface
- Replace the cap tightly after each use
Drug Interactions
- Oral beta blockers: Combining with oral beta blocker tablets can add up and cause excessive slowing of the heart rate.
- Calcium channel blockers: May increase the risk of low blood pressure and slow heart rate when used together.
