How to use Deponit 5mg?

• Apply Deponit Patch 5mg as prescribed, usually one patch once daily.
• Place it on clean, dry, hairless skin on the chest, upper arm or side of the body, and change the site daily.
• Remove the old patch before putting on a new one, and follow the patch free period the doctor advises.
• Do not cut the patch, and avoid heating pads or hot baths over the patch.

Drug Interactions

• Sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil: Contraindicated, as the combination can cause a severe drop in blood pressure.
• Other blood pressure medicines: Can add to the blood pressure lowering effect.
• Alcohol: May increase dizziness and low blood pressure.
• Riociguat: Contraindicated with nitrates because of a dangerous fall in blood pressure.

Risks and warnings

• Sildenafil and similar medicines: Never combine with sildenafil, tadalafil or vardenafil, as blood pressure can fall dangerously.
• Low blood pressure: Can cause dizziness or fainting, so rise slowly from sitting or lying.
