How to use Dexacor 0.1%/0.5% Drops 5ml?

• Shake the bottle gently before each use.
• Tilt the head back and pull down the lower eyelid to form a pocket.
• Instill one to two drops into the affected eye as directed.
• Close the eye gently for a minute without blinking hard.
• Wait at least five minutes before using any other eye drop.

Drug Interactions

• Other eye medicines: Using multiple eye drops together can dilute the effect, so a gap of five to ten minutes is advised.
• Other steroid drops or ointments: Combining with additional steroid products raises the risk of high eye pressure.

Risks and warnings

• Prolonged use: Extended steroid use can raise eye pressure and lead to glaucoma or cataracts.
• Viral or fungal infection: Should not be used on herpes eye infections or fungal keratitis since it can worsen the infection.
