How to use Dexer drops 0.1% / 0.5%?
- Shake the bottle gently before each use
- Instill 1 to 2 drops into the affected eye, 3 to 4 times a day or as the doctor directs
- Tilt the head back and pull down the lower eyelid to form a small pocket for the drop
- Avoid letting the dropper tip touch the eye or eyelashes
- Wash hands before and after each application
- Do not use for longer than the doctor has prescribed
Drug Interactions
- Other topical eye medicines: Space other eye drops at least 10 minutes apart from Dexer to prevent dilution.
- Other corticosteroid products: Combining with additional steroid eye drops raises the risk of high eye pressure.
- Live vaccines: Prolonged steroid exposure can blunt the response to live vaccines.
Risks and warnings
- Prolonged use: Extended steroid use can raise eye pressure and lead to glaucoma or cataracts.
- Viral or fungal infections: This combination is not suitable for herpes, fungal or other non bacterial eye infections.
- Contact lenses: Contact lens use should be paused during treatment.
- No improvement: The doctor should be consulted if symptoms persist beyond 7 days.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Use only under medical supervision.

Storage Conditions
