How to use Dexatob Ear Drops?

• Use Dexatob Ear Drops as prescribed, usually 3 to 4 drops into the affected ear every 4 to 6 hours.
• Warm the bottle in your hands, then lie on your side and place the drops in the ear.
• Stay in position for a few minutes, and do not touch the dropper tip to the ear or fingers.
• Do not use for longer than the doctor advises, and avoid sharing the bottle.

Drug Interactions

• Other ear drops: Use only one ear medicine at a time unless the doctor advises otherwise.
• Oral or injected aminoglycosides: Total exposure may add to the risk of hearing or kidney problems.
• Other steroid medicines: Added steroid exposure is possible with prolonged use.

• Eardrum perforation: Tell the doctor if you have ear discharge or a torn eardrum, as tobramycin can affect hearing if it reaches the inner ear.
