Digestine Capsule Uses

Digestine capsule is used to treat various digestive issues like heartburn, flatulence, and dyspepsia. It also helps prevent and treat slight nausea and vomiting. It contains Metoclopramide as the active ingredient, which belongs to the class of drugs known as GI stimulants. It works by increasing the rate of stomach contractions and speeds up emptying of the stomach into the intestines.

How to use Digestine Capsule 40mg?

It should be taken orally with a glass of water.
The medicine can be taken with or without food. However, it is best to take on an empty stomach.
Do not crush or chew the tablet.
The recommended dosage of Digestine is 40mg per day. Do not exceed that dose. If you still have nausea or vomiting, consult with your doctor, as they might prescribe strong antiemetics.

Raised prolactin levels leading to galactorrhea (abnormal nipple discharge)
Irregular periods
Gynecomastia- breast enlargement in men
