How to use Faverin Tablet 100mg?
- Take Faverin tablet at the same time each day, with or without food
- Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water, do not crush or chew
- Start with the lowest effective dose as advised by your psychiatrist
- Do not stop the medicine suddenly without medical guidance
Drug Interactions
- Theophylline: Fluvoxamine raises theophylline blood levels significantly through CYP1A2 inhibition, increasing toxicity risk
- Clozapine: Combined use can sharply raise clozapine levels, requiring dose reduction and monitoring
- Tizanidine: Coadministration is not recommended due to a marked increase in tizanidine levels and blood pressure drop
- MAOIs: Concurrent use is contraindicated due to serious risk of serotonin syndrome
