Ibuprofen is one of the best known NSAIDs and blocks the enzymes that make prostaglandins. These chemicals cause pain, fever and inflammation, so lowering them eases all three at once. Used at the lowest dose, it is generally well tolerated by healthy adults for short term pain.

How to use Fenflex tablet 200mg?

• Adults and children over 12 years: 1 to 2 Fenflex 200 mg tablets every 4 to 6 hours with food.
• Do not take more than 6 tablets (1200 mg) in 24 hours without medical advice.
• Children's dose depends on body weight, so use only as advised by the doctor.
• Stop and consult a doctor if pain lasts more than 3 days or fever more than 3 days.

Drug Interactions

• Aspirin and other NSAIDs: Together they raise ulcer and bleeding risk.
• Warfarin and blood thinners: Ibuprofen may increase the bleeding risk.
• ACE inhibitors, ARBs and diuretics: It may blunt their blood pressure effect and strain the kidneys.
• Methotrexate and lithium: Ibuprofen can raise their blood levels and cause toxicity.

Risks and warnings

• Stomach bleeding and ulcers: Ibuprofen can irritate the stomach, so take it with food and avoid long use.
