Neomycin is used to decrease the risk of infection after intestinal surgeries. It is also used along with a special diet to treat hepatic encephalopathy and to reduce the symptoms of a hepatic coma. Nystatin is an antifungal medicine which works by making holes in the cell membrane of the fungus, killing it and treating the infection. Bufexamac is an NSAID that is helpful in treating minor burns, sunburn, cuts, itches, and eczema. It acts as an anti-inflammatory agent on the skin.
