Frisium Tablet Uses

Frisium tablet is used for the treatment of anxiety and to control seizures. It contains clobazam as the active ingredient. Clobazam belongs to the class of drugs known as benzodiazepines. It works by enhancing the effects of Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), a neurotransmitter. This creates a calming effect on the brain, alleviating anxiety and seizure disorders like epilepsy and Lennox-Gastaut Syndrome (LGS).

Overdose

An overdose of clobazam can result in the following symptoms:

• Drowsiness
• Dizziness
• CNS depression
• Hypotension
• Ataxia

To prevent side effects due to overdose, do not exceed the maximum dosage of 40mg per day.
