Inosita Tablet Uses

Inosita is an anti-diabetic medication used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, sometimes along with other anti-diabetic medications. It helps lower blood glucose levels and improves glycemic control. Inosita is composed of sitagliptin.

Sitagliptin belongs to the class of drugs known as dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors. It helps lower blood sugar levels in type 2 diabetes patients by increasing the amount of insulin produced by the body.

Sitagliptin can be used on its own, or in combination with other antidiabetic medications such as metformin.

How to use Inosita Tablet 50mg?

• Swallow it whole with a glass of water.
• Take it half an hour before food intake.
• Do not crush or chew the tablet.
• The recommended dosage of sitagliptin 50 mg/metformin 500 mg orally is twice a day. However, it may vary according to condition.
