How to use Lazer Tablet 500mg?
- Take Lazer Tablet 500mg by mouth once daily, usually for 5 to 14 days depending on the infection
- Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water
- Take at the same time each day, with or without food
- Drink plenty of fluids while taking this medicine
- Avoid antacids, calcium, iron or zinc supplements within 2 hours of taking this tablet
- Complete the full course even if symptoms improve early
Drug Interactions
- Antacids and Mineral Supplements: Calcium, magnesium, aluminum, iron and zinc reduce absorption of levofloxacin if taken together
- Warfarin: May increase bleeding risk by enhancing the blood thinning effect
- NSAIDs: Combined use raises the risk of seizures affecting the central nervous system
- Corticosteroids: Increases the risk of tendon rupture when used together
- Antidiabetic Medicines: May cause significant changes in blood glucose levels
