Lophos Tablet Uses

Lophos tablet is used to treat high blood phosphate levels in patients who are undergoing dialysis or have end-stage renal disease (ESRD). Lophos contains calcium acetate that belongs to the phosphate binders class of medications. It prevents phosphate absorption into the bloodstream by binding the phosphate in the food you eat.

How to use Lophos Tablet?

  • Take the tablet by mouth with a glass of water
  • Do not crush or chew the tablet
  • Follow the dosage instructions of your doctor
  • Do not exceed the prescribed dosage
  • Do not use the medicine after the expiry date has passed

Lophos Tablet کا استعمال ان مریضوں میں ہائی بلڈ فاسفیٹ کی سطح کے علاج کے لیے کیا جاتا ہے جو ڈائیلاسز سے گزر رہے ہیں یا آخری مرحلے کے گردوں کی بیماری (ESRD) میں مبتلا ہیں۔ لوفوس میں کیلشیم ایسیٹیٹ ہوتا ہے جو کہ دوائیوں کے فاسفیٹ بائنڈر طبقے سے تعلق رکھتا ہے۔ یہ آپ کے کھانے میں فاسفیٹ کو باندھ کر خون کے دھارے میں فاسفیٹ کے جذب کو روکتا ہے۔
