How to use Lorid Tablet 10mg?

• Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water
• Can be taken with or without food
• Take once daily at a consistent time
• Do not crush or chew the tablet

Contraindications

• People diagnosed with severe liver impairment should use this tablet only under medical supervision
• Known allergy to loratadine or desloratadine rules out its use
• Not suitable for children under 2 years of age
• Avoid in patients with a known hypersensitivity to any ingredient in this tablet

Drug Interactions

• Ketoconazole: can raise loratadine levels in the blood and increase the risk of side effects
• Erythromycin: can raise loratadine levels in the blood and increase the risk of side effects
• Cimetidine: can raise loratadine levels in the blood and increase the risk of side effects

Risks and warnings

• Pregnant or breastfeeding women: should use this tablet only if the physician advises it
• Severe kidney or liver disease: may need a lower dose or less frequent dosing
• Driving or operating machinery: usually unaffected, but stop if you notice any drowsiness
• Missed doses: take as soon as remembered, but do not double up the next dose
