How to use Lotepred Drops 0.50%?
- Wash hands before use and avoid touching the dropper tip to the eye
- Shake the bottle gently before each use
- Instil the prescribed number of drops into the affected eye at the intervals your doctor advises
- Wait at least five minutes between this drop and any other eye medicine
- Continue for the full course length even if the eye looks better sooner
Drug Interactions
- Other Eye Drops: Using multiple eye drops together too closely can dilute the effect, space doses at least five minutes apart
- NSAID Eye Drops: Combined use may raise the risk of corneal problems in an eye with an existing surface issue
- Other Steroid Eye Products: Should not be combined without specialist advice, since it raises the risk of pressure and infection related side effects
