Molus Tablet 10mg Uses
- Long term control and prevention of asthma symptoms in adults and children above 15 years.
- Prevention of exercise induced bronchoconstriction.
- Relief from seasonal allergic rhinitis symptoms like sneezing and nasal congestion.
- Relief from perennial allergic rhinitis triggered by dust and pollen.
- Add on therapy for patients who need extra asthma control along with an inhaler.
Molus Tablet 10mg Benefits
- Reduces the frequency of asthma attacks when taken daily.
- Eases breathing difficulty caused by airway inflammation.
- Controls nasal allergy symptoms without causing drowsiness.
- Works well as a single evening dose for most adults.
- Can be combined safely with inhaled steroids for better asthma control.
Molus Tablet 10mg is widely stocked at pharmacies across Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, and Rawalpindi, so patients with asthma or allergies can find it close to home.
Montelukast works differently from steroids or antihistamines by blocking leukotrienes, the chemicals that trigger airway swelling. This makes it a useful add on option for patients who need extra control beyond an inhaler.
Doctors in Pakistan often prescribe this tablet alongside an inhaled steroid for moderate to severe asthma. A pulmonologist can help decide the right combination based on symptom severity.
Drug Class
- Leukotriene receptor antagonist
- Anti asthmatic and anti allergic agent
- Non steroidal airway inflammation controller
