Drug Interactions

• MAO Inhibitors: Combining these with Nodep can cause serotonin syndrome and is not recommended.
• NSAIDs and Aspirin: Taking these together raises the risk of bleeding.
• Other SSRIs or Tramadol: Combined use raises the risk of serotonin syndrome.
• Alcohol: Alcohol can worsen drowsiness and lower the drug's effectiveness.

Risks and warnings

• Suicidal Thoughts: Young adults may have increased suicidal thoughts, especially in the first few weeks.
• Serotonin Syndrome: Combining Nodep with other serotonergic drugs can cause a dangerous rise in serotonin.
• Heart Rhythm Changes: Higher doses can prolong the QT interval, especially in older adults.
