Norvasc tablet is used for the treatment of high blood pressure and angina (chest pain). The medication guards against kidney issues, heart attacks, and stroke. It also facilitates the circulation of blood throughout the body. The elderly can safely use Norvasc because it is easy on the stomach. It doesn't have the potential for abuse and has very few adverse effects. Norvasc is composed of Amlodipine. It is a calcium channel blocker. By relaxing blood arteries, this medication allows blood to flow through them more readily.

How to use Norvasc Tablet 5mg?

To be taken orally. Swallow the tablet with a glass of water.
Consume either before or after food.
Follow your doctor's advice when taking this medication.
Take it at the same time every day.
Never exceed the dosage that has been prescribed.
Take the missed dose as soon as you remember.
Never take two doses at once.
Alcohol and caffeine should not be consumed with this medication.
