Diclofenac is a strong NSAID that blocks the enzymes that make prostaglandins, the chemicals behind pain and swelling. It is commonly used for joint and muscle pain in Pakistan. Drug Interactions

• Aspirin and other NSAIDs: Together they raise the risk of ulcers and bleeding.
• Warfarin and blood thinners: Diclofenac may increase bleeding risk.
• ACE inhibitors, ARBs and diuretics: It can weaken their blood pressure effect and strain the kidneys.
• Methotrexate and lithium: Diclofenac may raise their blood levels and cause toxicity.
• Steroids: Using them together increases stomach ulcer risk.
