Omatril Tablet Uses

Omatril tablet is primarily used as an oral contraceptive to prevent pregnancy in women. It contains lynestrenol as the active ingredient, which is a progestin medication that works similar to the female hormone progesterone. Omatril can also be used for hormone replacement therapy in women who have low levels of estrogen, or for the management of endometriosis. Additionally, it can be effective in the treatment of irregular periods, and other menstrual disorders. As a contraceptive, Omatril works to prevent the sperm from reaching the egg by thickening cervical mucus and stopping ovulation.
