Polyfax Plus Uses

Polyfax Plus is an antibiotic skin ointment composed of Polymyxin B Sulphate, Lignocaine, and Bacitracin Zinc. It is used to prevent, treat and manage skin infections due to wounds, cuts, scrapes, scratches, surgical cuts, and burns. It is also used to treat infected skin arising from various conditions of the skin including eczema, scabies, folliculitis, ecthyma, etc.

How to use Polyfax Plus Skin Ointment?

• Clean the affected area
• Apply a thin layer of Polyfax skin ointment onto the affected area
• Use it 1-3 times daily or as prescribed by your doctor
• Cover the area with a sterile bandage if required
• Polyfax Plus is for external use only
• Do not use it for longer periods than prescribed
• Do not use it in larger amounts than required
• Do not use the ointment after the expiration date has passed
