How to use Provate-S Ointment 0.05% / 3%?

• Wash and dry your hands before applying the ointment
• Apply a thin layer to the affected patch only, once or twice daily as advised
• Gently rub in until absorbed, do not massage vigorously into inflamed skin
• Avoid applying on the face, groin, underarms, or broken skin unless your doctor says otherwise
• Do not cover the treated area with a bandage or plastic wrap unless specifically instructed
• Wash your hands again after application unless the hands are the treated area
• Use for the shortest duration that controls symptoms, generally two to four weeks
• Stop and consult your doctor if the skin worsens, burns, or shows signs of infection

Drug Interactions

• Other Topical Steroids: Combining with another steroid cream on the same area raises the risk of skin thinning
