How to use Safepram Tablet 10mg?
- Safepram tablet can be taken with or without food
- The tablet should be swallowed whole with water at the same time daily
- Full benefit usually appears after two to four weeks of regular use
- This medicine should be continued for months after recovery to prevent relapse
- Never stop this medicine suddenly, as the dose must be reduced slowly
Contraindications
- Should not be taken by anyone using antidepressants of the MAO inhibitor group
- People diagnosed with a heart rhythm problem called long QT syndrome
- Known allergy to escitalopram or citalopram
- Contraindicated in patients taking pimozide
Drug Interactions
