Secnidal Forte tablet is used for the treatment of bacterial vaginosis, amebiasis, giardiasis, and trichomoniasis. It is composed of Secnidazole, a medication that belongs to the class of drugs known as nitroimidazole antimicrobials. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Secnidal Forte should not be used in case of viral infections like cold or flu as it is only effective against bacterial infections.
