Septran DS Tablet Uses

Septran DS is an antibiotic that is used for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections. These include urinary tract infections, ear infections like otitis media, gastrointestinal tract infections, bronchitis, and pneumonia, etc. It is a combination of two antibiotics, sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim which inhibit the growth of bacteria. Septran DS should only be used for the treatment of bacterial infections as its use is not effective for viral infections.
